El Paraiso Club de Golf
An 18 hole championship course designed by Gary Player. The lush fairways are crossed by meandering streams and lakes, home to many waterbirds and the golf balls of the unwary!
Reasonable rates, good management and a friendly atmosphere in this traditional British-style golf club have made it extremely popular.
It was designed by Gary Player and offers a challenge to players of all levels.
The course, set in the Paraiso valley and traversed by streams, many of which are hidden, winds round two lakes and through hundreds of trees. Heavy rough borders the wide fairways. The 6th hole is generally regarded as the best on the course, a par-five dogleg left where your drive must steer clear of two-positioned bunkers, left and right and your second shot should be aimed to the left in order to avoid landing in the lake. The green has two tiers.
